Well, several of us made a pilgrimage from Orleans to Colombo’s last week, and I must tell you, we were thrilled by such seasonally fresh, attractively presented, reasonable food, with graceful service. What a wonderful addition you are to the Cape dining scene.
I wonder if your chef could kindly share the recipe for the Roasted Portabella Mushroom w/Ricotta and Sundried tomato. It was wonderful! I’ve looked for a recipe in my cookbooks, and online, and don’t see anything like it anywhere.
Thanks so much in advance. Can’t wait to come back …
I had your scollops w/angel hair pasta on the evening of December 29. The scollops were tender; the sauce was beautifully tasty, albeit restrained, and the pasta was cooked just right. A homemade lemon tarte was the perfect dessert—very nice crust; beautifully smooth and tart filling.
This was my first visit to Colombo’s. Believe me! There will be many more. Don’t change a thing.
Just wanted to say both your restaurants exceed our expectations. We have enjoyed the Road House for years and are very excited to see (Coulumbo’s) a new JEM in town!
